Hello Summertime: The Very Best Of Bobby Goldsboro

This reasonably priced CD is worth it if you want the classic hits such as Honey, Summer (The First Time), etc but is padded out with far too many covers. Some good - some bad.
But if you want all of Bobby's hits in one place - this CD is worth buying.

Greatest Hits Collection

Although a good album and including the rare to find "Butterfly for Bucky" in its track listing (a song that EMI seems to studiously omit from every compilation of Bobby's hits that they have ever brought out in the UK) I must point out that these are not the original hit recordings from the 60's and 70's. According to the extremely limited sleeve notes the tracks were actually recorded in 1999. If this doesn't bother you then fine but it has to be said that the originals are available (including EMI's latest compilation) for a fraction of the price.
