is good yes? yes. like good that is nice. not like good like man wiv camera. no. not like him. maybe more songs on this one. more singing like guy from coldplay but not him someone else. some piano on it. It make you happy like good weather and freinds on television. not hollyoaks like on e4 when you get holloaks then friends and you want friends but on e4 and e4+1 you get hollyoaks. how is this?

I bought this album after reading the rave reviews on Amazon. One reviewer has said it is better than Better than Miles Davis' 'Kind Of Blue' and John Coltrane's 'A Love Supreme'. Quite a statement. So does it live up to the hype? In short NO. For me there's nothing ground breaking here, just lots of repetitive noise. Never once was I completely drawn into the music. To fair there are a couple nice tracks on this album (And Relax and Diabolus). But to mention Cinematic Orchestra in the same breath as Jazz greats like Miles Davis and John Coltrane is insane! No actually its insulting. Can you honestly say this album can match the emotion and sheer genius of "Kind of Blue"?? Its a generous 3 stars from me ....

Well i was more into Roots Manuva then the jazz type, but when it came up with Cinematic Orchestra, i thought it was some kind of Live recording. But it must the most awesome song i have ever heard. It is truely mezmerizing.....i would never listen to this kinda music..but All Things To All Men just blew me into space.

I'm no jazz authority at all, nor was I there on the night, but really, if you enjoy jazz and extemporization, and this doesn't float your boat, then check for a pulse! Soulful, playful, panoramic...just a delight. Heidi Vogel's vocals are breathtaking, the whole thing is simply suffused with sheer musical ability, depth and expression.

Remixes 1998 - 2000

The album opens with a bang in the form of 'Moving Cities', which wouldn't sound out of place in a 70s spy thriller like 'The Ipcress File'. Next comes a remix by Tom Tyler of the Cinematics very own 'Channel One Suite'. It's a great remix, which admittedly I didn't like at first but now love.The third track is a sheer work of genius. In my opinion it's the best track the Cinematic Orchestra has ever recorded - 'Fear Theme'. It is absolutely fantastic- the slow, playful build-up into a fantastic crescendo of jazz meets psuedo-classical brilliance.
