Gu34 - Milan: Limited Edition

Another compilation in GU's 'new style'. GU seems to be swinging away from progressive house and exploring new sounds. Felix Da Houscat's mix is frankly not as easy to listen to as most progressive house compilations. Its not 'melodic' in the sense of what most people would call 'melodic' (i.e. like Mozart!).
However, of course there is melody there - its just more challenging to find it. I find that if I pay attention then I really enjoy this mix. If I'm distracted slightly then it just sounds 'noisy'.
Its a rewarding music experience, but not an easy one. I think you will either find it stimulating or just downright obscure.

This is a very poor introduction to DaHousecat work as a producer. This is a collection of a flavor that has made a come back for some time and far too long: 80's synth pop. Only for reborn Nik Kershaw and Bonnie Tyler fans

I think its hard to mock this compilation without nit-picking. If you do not like funky and twisted house don't buy the C.D. I, however do, I've been to bugged out at cream at amnesia when felix was playing and i had a great night out. that inspired me to buy the album. I would say that I do listen to felix's disc alot more that justin's, purely because I have'nt got slightly bored yet. which is a good sign, surely! I highly recommend it! If you have been to bugged out!, and enjoyed it then I can not see how you would not enjoy this.

Virgo Blaktro and the Movie Disco

Never afraid to be different, once again Felix stands out from the crowd with another superbly 'different from the rest' album.
Most tracks are only 3 minutes long, meaning the album moves along at a swift speed. The tracks manage to be different but sound together, apart from maybe Tweak (my favourite along with the brilliant Future Calls The Dawn). Tweak is built for the dancefloor, and as far as i know, Felix released this track over a year ago, so it's inclusion is a surprise. But it's not a bad point, far from it.
Other personal favs include Movie Disco, Like Something 4 Porno, Radio & Monkey Cage.
This won't disappoint the loyal Felix fan base, and will hopefully attract new fans too.

It is simply a stunning record that has all sorts of retro sounds in it.

If you like new order then you must own this.

If you like 80s music then you must own this.

If you hate 80s music and are into upbeat dance music then you must own this.

I honestly can't recommend it highly enough.

Every good home should have a copy

This first release from felix's fantastic electronic monster of a new albulm 'the kittin and thee glitz' is an absolute killer.It features uber-cool vocals from the albulms co-star Miss Kitten from Dj Hells' 'International Deejay Giggolos' label. A big, muffled, pounding bass drum kicks the track off, with Ms. Kittins vocals sitting nicely on top. Out of nowhere the track then suddenly explodes with a giant wave of electric maddness as your speakers get destroyed with an awesome overdrive coated bassline! Then, just as suddenly, we are taken back to the low humming thumping drum and vocals, eagerly awaiting the next explosive wave! This tune rocks. Buy it. Love it. Then buy the albulm.

THis album shows there mixing talent into a style of electro house,techno and maybe touch of trance.The funky sounds he took to a movie,champu and missy queens gonna die one my favorites.Kicking into some deep electro syles of treat me better and substance.Then into some housey trancey tunes like gas,over the hill and check the underground made me do it another favorite very cool.
