Although Swagger comes close, Float has instantly become my favourite FM album. I pray the next one is this classy.
1. Requiem For A Dying Song:
This track is powerful and catchy, I first heard it several months before Swagger was released performed acoustically and loved it. Hard hitting, but some might say a little 'greenday', of course, those people need their ears checked.
2. (No More) Paddy's Lament
I'm still debating whether their label got the apostrophe right on "Paddy's" but with a song this good it's hard to care.
3. Float
A slow acoustic number, stays with you long after you stop listening to it.
4. You Won't Make A Fool Out Of Me
I didn't like this one as ... Read More:

This is the newest release from the great band Flogging Molly. After releasing two albums before ("Alive Behind The Green Door" and "Swagger") they are at the peak of their proficiency. They play Irish Punk Rock at its best and this album offers a wide variety of songs, from rather punky and fast tracks (like Cruel Mistress) to very quiet songs (like the last song The Son Never Shines (On Closed Doors)).
All of the songs are awesome, I especially love Drunken Lullabies (a happy drinking song which spreads good vibrations) and Death Vally Queen (nice song, which sonds a bit Egyptian at the beginning). The way they are playing their instruments show, that they are really good musicians, which we can't say from most of the punk bands. Read More:

I first heard Flogging Molly about 2 years ago. I was up late one friday night watching a music show called "Rage" (an Australian version of M.T.V), i started nodding off (due to bordom) until i was awoken by a song called "Seven Deadly Sins" blasting through my t.v screen, the song totally caught my ear. Very fast, tight, pacey and melodic. If you like a more punk version of The Pogues then you`ll love this album. I`m a very big fan of this new crossover punk with folk music. Flogging Molly and Dropkick Murphys rule.

As we wait for new material and recover from the moshpits on the recent UK tour we have this little beauty to keep us interested. The DVD has about 100 minutes of live footage, interviews and general Molly material all of which is most cool! Some of the older live footage is superb and the profiles and interviews are quite 'telling' without being intrusive - they've just let the band members talk and filmed it. Hearbreaking scenes when Dave King is playing in his mum's house and when they visit his Dad's grave. The CD has five acoustic versions on which are all superb and alomst as good as the originals ... but not quite. There are then five storming live versions which do a fair job of taking you back to a Molly gig - but you'll need to cover yourself ... Read More:

I grew up with two of the most famous irish bands played to me on a regular basis. Those two were the pogues and the dubliners. When I've tried to introduce these two to my friends one of the biggests problems they have especially with the dubliners is they can't get into the music. There isn't too much irish mainstream music around especially not these days but Flogging Molly have changed all that. They are instantly catchy and even pop idol fanatics will be able to admit these guys (and one girl) are the real deal. They bring back that feeling of music as an experience and when you finish listening to the cd you may havetohave a wee rest before starting it up again. Brilliant cd from an enormously talented band. Without even seeing them you know this would be ... Read More:
