The four piece Glamsters comprise of classically named members Tin Star on Vocals and Guitar, Hot Rod on Bass, Slim Pete on Drums, and new guitarist Dee Dee, and this album - the band's third - is arguably their best yet.

What a wonderful surprise this album turned out to be. Think Guns'n'Roses if Axl hadn't got too big for his boots, minus the Slash solos, and you get the idea.
I first got into this band after they were used as the backing music for the Getaway in Stockholm DVDs, it was one of those moments when you are watching something and just have to find out where that great music comes from!
I ordered this and the new album 'Black Anthem', and the quality of all the songs is top drawer. Very few bad tracks, with mention made to the excellent 'My Self Esteem' and 'Poison Envy', pure rock anthems of the highest order.
They are live in the UK shortly, and I for one will be going to a gig. If they are half as good live as they are on CD then ... Read More:

I've often wondered why more bands haven't tried to cop some Marilyn Manson action. Now I'm not saying the world needs more rip off merchants but for someone perceived as being influential he hasn't left much of a mark on the generation that followed.

So it's reassuring to see Gemini Five doing just that. Although I'm sure MM would never have called a song "Bring On The Monkey". It's also worth noting that Gemini Five have upped the guitar quotient considerably on their cyber gothnroll. So you can bang your head or stand mournfully in a floor lenght leather coat. The choice is yours.

And there are some crcking tunes here, well worthy of a wider hearing. The title track is a HIM-esque anthem, "Making Love Song" a guitar heavy ... Read More:

Mr.Gemini is an absolute don of the house/techno genre.Now this album passed my radar in 97,how i don't know,anyway i found it on amazon for £1.40 brand new,unbelievable!Onto the music,well it's just plain awesome,Gemini has a wonderful way of utilizing melody and yet the beats are rough and ready so this album sits perfectly between house and techno and has that distinct chicago feel.Basically this is the BOMB,i recommended 100% to those who like underground house with an edge.TOP TOP ALBUM.
