The Best of Groove Armada

Having bought this album after hearing it playing in the hairdressers (!), I was not dissappointed. There are so many songs I recognised that I didn't even realise were Groove Armada's and there's a real mix of chill out songs along with dance/pop, so whatever mood you're in this album will give you a lift! I don't think this album will ever sound out-dated, it's great!

Soundboy Rock

I used to be into my G*A back when the Vertigo album came out, but then moved on to the Goodbye Country.
Vertigo is a classic album in my mind now, goodbye Country only an average album so went off G*A.
But, when I got the Soundboy Rock album, it re-kindled my love of the groove (even though they have totally moved on from the other albums).
If you like one song off this album, but are not sure about the album, buy it. You won't be disappointed!

Vertigo

This album is stupidly good. The only CD that comes close to this album is Air's 'Moon Safari' that is legendary itself. If you are looking for a chill out album and you don't already own this you have been missing out for years. 'At the River' is of course the best thing about this album but every track has its merits and 'Your Song' will also grow on you.
All great songs can be overplayed but very few remain as good as the first time you hear them but 'At the River' is one of those select few. Recommended for someone looking to relieve stress.
This is surely the best album ever made.

This album is an all time classic. If you don't get it first time round have another listen coz it's grower. I'm on my 3rd copy because i literally wore the others out i play it that much!

Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub)

One of those albums that never saturates your ears. I am a big GA fan and I believe this is their best. It has the best track to dig your wardrobe before going out: Superstylin, the best one to drift away while partying: Drifted, the best one for an after party mellow chillout: Lazy Moon, the best one for the cabride home: Raisin the Stakes and the best one to clean your toilet next morning: Fogma. You will not be disappointed!

Judging from the rest of the reviews, a lot of people like this album. But I'll bet there's quite a few GA fans who are mightily disappointed with it too. It sounds like GA trying to make a MOR pop/rock album. And for me, with the exception of one or two tracks, it just doesn't work.

I appreciate there is a real tendency to have endless glowing reviews on amazon and that people rarely post negative feedback. Well, i'm afraid I am going down the glowing praise route. This album is absolutely supurb, without a doubt in the Top 5 of my entire collection and worthy of every star I have given it.

It has everything. The chilled out blissful tunes that made GA such a big hit with their first album Vertigo and the stomping floor fillers that get played out and about all the time. critics claim a good album must deliver from start to finish and take you on some sort of a journey. this album does exactly that, from the hip hop tinged Suntoucher via the upbeat Superstylin' and Fogma (which is an immensely dirty fat tune!) which both ... Another Late Night - Groove Armada

I was just browsing through the 'another late night' albums to see if more had been released, and i was shocked to see that this didn't have the five stars that it most certainly deserves! The tracks are amazing and flow beautifully. It is really atmospheric music, perfect for chilling out in the summer, perhaps after a day at the beach..
