i love gwen stefani but honestly this album was abit of a let down. After listening to L.A.M.B and all of its great tracks, this was not as good. Sorry Gwen But You Are A Hollaback Girl!

I was really dissapointed with this album. I loved the first three songs (which is why i bought it) but the rest were just really annoying sort of nu rave badly written 80s pop

This DVD faulters everytime the stageshow goes ga-ga with silly on-stage narration from Gwen between songs and the OTT dancing bits from the 'street boyz' she has with her (the Harajuka girls are ok though...). I was hoping for less show and more musically grit and substance from Ms Stefani on tour TBH - I never saw the concerts live so I didn't know how she was approaching the live work. It's a 'girly' show with costume changes and the like, but fortunately not too excess like say Madonna does.
There are some cracking bits too though: Orange County Girl/What You Waiting For/Cool/Luxurious in particular are all great moments.
The stage set is not the most elegant I've seen, so not too much visual wow going on, but the ... Read More:

Any hopes that Gwen had actually been incarcerated for (previous single) Wind It Up are dashed when it turns out the prison thing was just a ruse to get Akon involved. Akon, as we all know, can only sing about life at the Big House and it seems to be striking a chord with the kind of people who buy a lot of ringtones. Gwen must have sniffed a hit single and decided that slumming it on some prison visits was worthwhile.
In fact, The Sweet Escape is preposterous slow jam/lullaby thing that doesn't work the first time you hear it, and then somehow over time manages to become actually rather marvellous. Still, not as good as some of the proper songs on her album which she inexplicably decided not to release as singles i.e. Early Winter ... Read More:

While the music world has an array of artists few can be as long lasting and graceful as Gwen Stefani! She is a symbol of confidence, empowerment, and vibrant dynamic talent! The songs in this CD are from the album titled, "Love, Angel, Music, Baby". This single comes housed in a slim-line jewel case, is made in Germany, and has the enhanced video for "Cool". If you want to experience music to feel great then this is for you! The in control attitudes combined with the music will get you ready to face anyone or anything! Enjoy and experience the pop/dance/reggae beats!
The first track, "Cool" (Album Version 8:09) is a nice soft pop song with Gwen's vocals sounding sensually strong, distinct, and pleasant in sound. The music flows smoothly ... Read More:

Welcome home Gwen! Stefani is back to her Orange County for an absolutely brilliant show. She is enjoying herself every second, and the public is incredibly responsive. A bunch of brilliant musicians (Gail Ann Darcey, Zach Alford, who both worked more than 10 years with David Bowie) who take the music to another dimension with the live performance; one step up from the CD.
The highest moments of the show: "Orange County Girl" when the Californian crowd goes wild, and "Hollaback Girl".
Anyway, the whole concert is fantastic, and If you like Gwen Stefani, this is a no brainer.
