Ian Pooley may look like Peter Kay on the cover but any compilation that includes "Tears", "Domina", "Limbo of Vanished Possibilities", "KMS 054" AND "Sueno Latino" must be a winner. Only misses out on that 5th star for failure to include "(I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles"! BTW Peter how about doing a new video for "Tears" with Ken, Deirdre et al - a surefire Xmas no. 1.

Nite:Life Vol.6: Mixed By Ian Pooley

This is truly a CD for the discerning house music listner. It is melodic, rhythmic, funky and some how mellow (and does not submit to vulgar cheese). The first ten tracks are non stop quality. I would agree that the last couple of tracks are not so great but that is hardly surprising given the over all quality of the tracks in this mix. This is the best house mix CD I have heard in ages!!

This is truly a CD for the discerning house music listner. It is melodic, rhythmic, funky and some how mellow (and does not submit to vulgar cheese). The first ten tracks are non stop quality. Yes, you might think of a cheesy holiday program or two but don't fret all is revealed as something quite honest and infinitely listenable.
A journey that filters through sunbeached memories and makes you don a pair of rosey tinted glasses and utter the imortal words of "I remember when dance music was good....blah, blah, blah...." (something about the good old days,etc).
