Recorded in 1962 this classic selection of laid back bossa and samba proved to be an epitaph for Quebec who died shortly after the recording. He plays with such warmth and sensitivity that perhaps he knew this was the culmination of his life in jazz.

It is a beautiful album which adds 3 tracks to the original release of 9 laid back classics with the rhythm section giving a masterclass in understated but solid suport.

For fans of Jazz or Latin or Brazil this is a must.
