What can I say, this one's got it all. Major, Minor, Major, Minor, Major, Minor with a complex rhythm structure of 4/4, 2/4, 4/4, 4/4. I got the morning view album the day it came out, and this, being the first track on the album, was the first I heard. I was blown away. These guys did it on Make yourself too, one track (make yourself) was composed in 7/4, 4/4, and it worked extremely well, exploiting the true genius of these people. They managed to do it just as well on morning view for this track, Nice To Know You.The track starts with simple clean volume swells from Mike Einziger and Brandon Boyd vocalising in a whispered tone. Are You in [CD 2]

Incubus seem to mature all the time, as far as their musical style and abilities are concerned. This track is different from their usual metal and rock efforts. It is a chilled song with a strong bass line and plenty of jazz and funk influence. Although the track has few lyrics- they are smoothly and effortlesly sung by Brandon. Don't be put off by the fact it isn't the same as their usual stuff because they are simply going back to their funk roots. It also bares a similar resemblance with one of their earlier songs called 'anti-gravity love song' and perhaps some even earlier songs. Incubus are certainly taking their music to new heights, this is highly recommended not only to incubus fans but anyone that enjoys a good funk track.

Wow!! Fantastic!! This is the first album I have ever purchased of Incubus and its trully amazing. It ranges from stomping tracks such as 'Vitamin', and (my personal favourite)'Idiot Box', to soothing tracks like 'Summer Romance'.
There is a simply perfect mix of rock, metal and funk to provide you with the perfect album - stomping bass lines, catchy guitar riffs and perfect vocals.
I literally went out and bought every other album on sale after hearing this - BUY IT NOW!!
