Karaoke to the Sound of Music

Full Orchestral backing track - lovely sound which matches the original film music. I use these with my singing pupils and my children and would rate this at Moderate difficulty. Words are included in a small print leaflet. Synthetic notes quietly pick out the tune to help you know when to sing and when to pause (easy to hear against the much nicer sound of the orchestra but quickly covered over by real vocals once you've learned the song). From reading reviews of other 'karaoke' tracks it might help to point out that this is a CD not a DVD and therefore doesn't have words coming up on screen. Personally, I would call this backing tracks not 'karaoke' for that reason.

Josh Groban: You Raise Me Up/You're Still You

I think you're still you was the first song I heard by Josh Groban on an episode of Ally McBeal, and he simply blew me away. Who would of thought a voice could be so powerfully moving. The lyrics and the feeling behind them are so emotional, they are worth just sitting, closing your eyes and losing yourself in. A wonderful start, I can't see how anybosy could hear this song and not be drawn in by it, if you don't have it, buy it!
