If you ask me, Mariah Carey is without doubt in a league of her own in the music industry, her vocal ability is simply stunning, and she never fails to even slightly disappoint each time she releases an album.

"E=MC²" is Mariah's 11th studio album and is quite similar to her last album "The Emancipation Of Mimi" which became the biggest selling album of 2005. Mariah tends to be on the end of comments like "she's trying to be hip-hop" far too often and unless you've followed her work, you'll know this clearly isn't the case, Mariah's always had R&B style songs and working with rappers has been a gradual process.

A heart rendering ballad that's gonna pull your heart strings apart. A classic ballad aimed at a lost loved one, which everybody can relate too in life i'm sure. This is classic Mariah and should find it's way too the top of the charts here, get a photo of your lost loved one put it on the mantle piece, place this cd in your stereo and weep. It's so beautiful, too ignore it would be criminal and make you a hard person, get your emotions going on to this track, it's perfect. Yet again, Mariah has belted the rest out of the way, and taken the gold medal. Love it.

This album is great don't listen to all the other reviews from jesolus people, who don't have the supberb voice that mariah does.

`Music Box' was Mariah Carey's 3rd album, it was the last album of Carey's that did not include a single collaboration or guest, as well as being one of the biggest selling albums in music history, the only reason for this could be the 3 chart toping singles it produced, including the killer record breaking ballad `Hero', what also sold this album was the fact it had universal appeal, meaning you wouldn't have to be a huge Mariah Carey fan to own it, as you could appreciate it for it's more mainstream `pop' sound.

The quality of the material on this album is excellent, but if I had to choose, my personal favourites would have to be the very gospel inspired `Anytime You Need A Friend', a theme or genre that Carey would later use ... Read More:

How could you possibly not adore this album?!! There are some fantastic songs in this collection all with Mariahs fantastic singing ability. Whilst this does not include her more recent hits, I feel that this is still worth getting as this is definately Mariah at her best. Its good value too!

babydoll-love this song so much its a timeless classic
the beautiful ones featuring dru hill,did u know this song was actually done in 1984 (look at the bottom of the songwords),but is still great.
whenever you call- this one is better with brian mcknight-if you want the remix cop the #1's album.
butterfly is great, i also love my all, her voice is brillant, and for the person on her emotions review album who said she has the voice of a strangled chicken,you voice sounds like a cat in pain.
