Disappointing in the extreme.I am an MCC fan but I'm afraid that I find the music on this CD boring.In fact at times I was left wondering whether the tracks had actually changed so alike one another do they sound.
I realise that not all Christmas songs need to be of the 'Jingle Bells' variety but interspersing the occasional 'lighter' track among the slow,nay dreary ones,wouldn't go amiss.

Only the first track is poor, the rest are great, and I got paid to see them in concert, and they were fab, just regret losing interest way back then after psycocandy-they kept the inspiration going long after.Keep going boys, for as long as you can hold a spectrum.

Growing Pains

It's rare you get hooked on a CD on the first listen but this is one
of those. With so many RnB artists coming out today it is so hard
to find one which stands head and shoulders above others. This is one
of them. Track after track I was constantly hitting the repeat button.
Mary's experiences and maturity definitely shines through on this album.
Without a doubt much thought went into the production of this material.
Very nice music and musical arrangments as well as very meaningful lyrics.

Mercy Now

This woman has lived! The songs here deal with such a wide range of deep, at times dark, material. The atmosphere of the album is with you in the first few notes, and its the type of CD that really won't let go. Listen to this late at night when you're prepared to think about the lyrics. Some of these great songs got in my head straight away.

I would buy this again without any hesitation.
