Beautiful News

Things worth knowing about this album:-

1 - it is a studio album, not a live worship session. You don't get that "worship festival" feel. But you do get some fantastic worship lyrics, backed by quality music. I listen to a lot of secular music and Beautiful News is right up there in terms of musicality and quality.

2 - there are some amazing songs on the album, which are coming out of a deeper experience of the struggles of life than some of Matt's earlier writings. You Never Let Go, for example, came out of some really painful family experiences.

3 - I have no clue why the Amazon price is so high, but in response to some of the negative comments on here [and why give Matt's work 1 star just because ... Read More:

Looks like Matt Redman has once again created a brilliant spirit filled superb worship album. The songs are all clearly written under the influence as well as the bass lines, piano and guitar pars, I don't know much about spirit filled drumming, I just meant that it was spirit filled song writing.
All of the tracks reflect the glory of our Lord God and this CD is definitely worth the little money that it takes to buy it. I suggest it and recommend it strongly.
