If you like musicals and the top shows then you will love Michael's rendition of the popular songs from some of them. Yes their was bound to be music from 'Phantom', lets face it Michael Crawford is 'Phantom' nobody does it better. And 'Music of the Night' does it for me everytime reaching the parts that others dont!! His version of Nat King Coles 'When I Fall in Love' was just beautiful. It is easy listening at its best, its goodbye Frank Spencer and hello to the talent and wonderful voice of Michael Crawford. I loved this CD!!!

What I loved best about this album(and what makes it stand out from other albums of the same genre)is the GENUINE feeling one hears in Michael's voice. He does not simply SING a lyric. Rather, he PERFORMS it, as an actor would not simply SPEAK a line but instead BECOMES that character he is playing.

Like all GREAT singers, Crawford has the gift to make you FEEL his emotions, and experience WITH HIM what he is describing in song. His vocal performance is made all the more powerful by his technical prowess. Michael Crawford has a heavenly voice. I highly recommend all of his albums They are all wonderful. This on eis great, "A Touch of music in th e Night," is romantic and beautiful all the way. Michael sings with such passion, warmth and sensativity. He has a truly angelic voice. I'd give it 100 stars if I could.
