Heaven and Hullby: Mick Ronson Release Date May 01, 1994 I'd have drove from Heaven to Hull for this album after Mick first 2 albums (slaughter & Play) it took another 19/20 years for another one, This one! The album includes Bowie,Chissie Hynde,ian Hunter , Joe Elliot (somethin i wasnt to impressed about!) John Mellencamp & the other 3 out of queen! Anyway as much as i dont like def leppard (or however you spell it) Joe Elliot was the mastermind behind this after Micks sad death so i've gotta thank him for doing such a great job. I love Mick Ronson (named my dog after him! RONNO)& this is a masterpiece buy it! Sound like i had something to do with it! I wish Mick Ronson is the most underated rock star ever & i miss his music. xx RIP Mick |

Slaughter on 10th Avenueby: Mick Ronson Release Date February 03, 2003 Due to the Bowie association, this album potentially would interest hard-core Bowie fans, including The Human League and Def Leppard who both covered "Only After Dark". Incidentally, a reviewer on this page implies that Ronson is responsible for the riff to "Rebel Rebel"..... That's evidence of a sad obsession as Ronson did not play on that song at all! The guitar on "Rebel Rebel" is played by Bowie himself. |
