Before I ever heard any of their songs, I knew of Moby Grape by reputation -- the quintessential 60's band that had an incredible first album, the success of which they could never top, and they flamed out big time. I always wondered how that momentum was halted and how such a highly regarded band could flop.

That brings us to "Wow." Until recently, I had never heard anything other than their first album, which was pretty darn good and serves as a great late 60's timepiece. When getting ready to listen to "Wow," I prepared myself for dull, boring, tuneless 60's psychedelia. I must say I was truly blown away by how good this entire CD was. Everything Is Wrong [+ Underwater Bonus CD]

Everything Is Wrong, released 1995, is a wonderful album that was a revolution in Moby's music. He mixed gospel into "Hymn", he blew the dance floor with hits like "Feeling So Real", "Everytime You Touch Me", and "Bring Back My Happiness".
He went back into his punk rock roots with "All That I Need Is To Be Loved" and "What Love". "Anthem" sends a chill down your spine like no other. He ended off the album with the trance and ambient songs "First Cool Hive", "Into The Blue", "Everything Is Wrong", "God Moving Over The Face of the Waters", and "When It's Cold, I'd Like To Die". This edition contains an extra CD, "Underwater", which is an ambient piece with 5 parts, that ends this beautiful CD.
