The latest single from Muse is finally upon us and we havn't been let down! This one contains the tracks; In Your World, Dead Star & Can't Take My Eye's Off You (A dodgy cover that they've pulled of spectacularly) and the video to In Your World. If you havn't already bought it I STRONGLY suggest you do! All we can do now is wait for the new album to be completed that these tracks will be from, having heard them I can honestly say that the album should DEFO be worth the wait!

Sunburn [CD 1]

Well, the title is incredibly appropriate. Apart from the lyrics, this song does seem to burn right into your head, and after a listen it's unlikely you'll ever forget it. I love the piano intro, although simple, it's so delicate and frail it raises goosebumps on your arm. It also adds effect when the furious chorus shocks you back to reality.
In my experience, even people who don't like Muse like this song so I'd recommend it to anyone. It's just a pity it doesn't have the video, which is frankly scary. But that's the only downside.

Defying any classification of "gothic" music, Faith & The Muse are a distinctive band blending Celtic, Eastern, Rock, Instrumental styles into a fascinating sound yet to be discovered by many. The band's curriculum (with Faith being an ex-Christian Death) couldn't recommend them any better; yet their best credentials are songs like "Sparks" or "Mercyground". ("Sparks" itself has an intensity rarely found in mainstream rock / dance music).
This Two Disc Set contains live performances, rarities and mixes. In their short career, Faith & The Muse have produced three different CDs, and with their fans growing larger by the day, material like "Vera Causa" is certainly appreciated.

Quite simply the best single for at least a decade. With no fewer than 5 'grab you by the xxxxx' hook lines it's the perfect morning drive-to-work wake up. Forget caffeine or 6am workouts, just turn up the bass and wait for the adrenalin rush as the outrageous riff wave hits and your speakers explode with the distorted death rattle of garrotted guitar.

This is one of my all-time favourite albums - a beautiful mix of everything from folk to gothic rock and back again. Faith and the Muse never cease to impress me with their talent and versatility. Wonderful to listen to with the lights out after a bad day - I can't wait for their newest album!

The best song of 2006 from the best album of 2006 by the best group in 2006 and the best live act of 2006.
A completely over the top spaghetti western theme of a tune from galloping horses to lazers to crashing guitars. It is total madness that if you think it through should never work, but Muse get it to work in a way that no other group around at the moment are able to.
