The Black Parade

I hadn't heard anything by them until ITV used the track 'Welcome to the Black Parade' during the Brazilian F1 Grand Prix. I didn't know who it was by but was instantly hooked. A few mouse clicks later and I'd found out the artist and had ordered the album.

I received it today and couldn't wait to play it. Absolutely fantastic! The only problem (!) is that I'm now going to have to buy the rest of the albums. It's such a long time since I've heard music that immediately grabs my attention.

Worth every penny. Highly recommended if you like 'proper' music.

The Black Parade Is Dead: Live in Mexico City (DVD/CD)

I love this. I think it's really great to be able to see The Black Parade in all it's epic glory, then get up close and personal in Hoboken. I preffered the NJ gig because there was more interaction with the audience, but even still the Mexico City blew me away with the explosions, etc.
A must have for all of the MCRmy. End of.

Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge: Parental Advisory

I bought this album after "The Black Parade", and for anyone only just starting to realise the brilliance of MCR's music, I think that's the best way to go.It took me a while to get used to The Parade, but I then (roughly)knew what to expect from "Three cheers for sweet revenge".
Three cheers is definitely darker than the Parade, but after hearing their third album you'll be used to darkness and anger.The lyrics in most of the songs are very aggressive,but I guess that's what pulls you in. My favorite tracks are "Helena", "Give 'em hell, Kid", "To the end", "Jetset life is gonna kill you" "Thank you for the Venom" and "I'm not Okay (I promise)". I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love

I got this album after The Black Parade and Three Cheers, and I would recommend that order for anyone only just entering the punk-rock world.
You can definitly tell it's their first album. As my dad put it, it's unpolished, and I really love that about the album. The lyrics are violent and harsh, but touching at the same time. Through both Bullets and Three cheers MCR use a doomed lovers theme. If you like that (like me), listen to "Early sunsets over monroeville", "Demolition lovers" and "Drowning Lessons". This album sounds dark but they're all really good songs.A momentous first album. You're gonna love it!

I ve listend to mcr in the past and I liked there songs alot I was even a member onther official site and I thought they would out run all thos othe r rock bands.T at was a year ago now up untill that poin I was logging on there sites n all sorts.... thenI heard that Mikey got married not long after Gerard got married hten poooof heard nothing from the band 4 ages and now they hve realesed a CD that I havent heard yet good luck with thatone lads Katie no 1 fan xx

My Chemical Romance are one of the most brilliant bands on the planet.Anyone who doesnt like them must be retarded!My favorite song on this album would have to be Cancer,the song is emotional and soft but still has that emo touch to it.Hopefully My Chemical Romance will continue making these great songs.And all i would say to the band themselves would be KEEP THE GREAT WORK UP AND YOUR FANS ARE ALL BEHIND YOU!I haven't yet seen the band perform in front of my eyes but have tickets to see them at the Manchester Apollo.THERE SUCH A GOOD BAND cant wait to see them perform
