I remember when this album came out back in 2001, I wasn't feeling The Neptunes at the time. I was mostly into underground hip-hop so listening to this type of stuff was considered kinda poppish. But as the years passed by, my listening taste has grown and I decided to give The Neptunes a true listen because the music nowadays have no creativity whatsoever. So stuff that I didn't like back then has now become gold. This is the masterpiece I missed out on. Fly Or Die

The renowned producer Pharrell Williams brings his talents forward once again to the follow up album to the band's first album `In search of...' which was ok but this is by far a better buy if you're looking for exciting rock/rap music.

The most influential tracks are `She wants to move' `the way she dances' and `jump' which all provide an upbeat tone and justify the rocking genre perfectly.

Some tracks to be skipped are `Backseat love' and `Breakout' which sound awful with a backing track that's sounds uncomfortable and unjustified.

With classic rapping by Pharrell and the other members playing instruments it is an acceptable album, perhaps not worth buying but listening to if you like this type of music.

Rock Star

The trouble with hip-hop is that much of it sounds the same, sleazy and fake. However this single signals a change in the genre with draw dropping music (great guitar riff+keyboards!)and fantastic singing/rapping. Pharell and Chad really are great producers but they've really outdone themselves when they've actually recorded some of their own material. Buy this single and you'll be pleasantly surprised. Even better buy the album
