All Rise [CASSETTE]by: Naked Raygun Release Date November 01, 1995 While not 'Hardcore' in the classic Minor Threat/Black Flag/Circle Jerks sense, Chicago's Naked Raygun shared the same ethic and, when they needed to, could thrash with the best of them. 'All Rise' is their second full length lp following 84s 'Throb Throb' and contains two of their best numbers - 'I Remember' and 'Home of the Brave'. Raygun infused the hardcore thrash sound with a wicked mix of Buzzcocks and SLF inspired riffs and melodies and their trademark "Wow oh oh oh" choruses. Teamed with Pezzati's awesome vocals and lyrics ("I am the peacemaker, I'll pound sand right up your ass"!!)this makes for an uplifting sound that forces you to sing along and mosh round the room.
