When I first heard about this CD it was the artists involved which initially caught my attention. The potential for a really superb album being made here was clear. However, when I gave this album a few listens I was slightly dissapointed.
The vocals are superb, Patton sings in his usual rythmic manner and Charles sings through her teeth. However, the musical arrangements all
sound bare and uninteresting, and as if they were
all played solely on an old synth with a sequencer. Some tracks stand out initially as entertaining such as 'Book of the month' and 'Anger management' but become tiresome after

This is a most fantastic album, Mike patton's vocals are at his most strongest, the musical arrangements are without fault.
The 'feel' of the album hearkens back to the 50's, where men wine and dine beautiful ladies, and the ladies (and the men) would never, ever disclose what they do after the lights go out.

With a team like this behind you, how can you lose anything but your pants?

Right, admittedly, I have not had sex to this CD, so can't comment on how great it is in that respect. However, I have had far more obscure things playing the background before, not that you need to know that. Back to the music. I can say this music is sexy!
