Feelin' Way Too Damn Good

This is certainly a fine example of a great rock song. Not too heavy on the hard rock/nu metal music, but just the right amount of music to let you enjoy the song. The lyrics have that sort of rhythm that will stay in your mind for some time. Even now my mind is singing "I'm feeling too dawn good!” meaning that it is definitely a song that you will remember.
Both single and album versions are brilliant, all for the reasons I have just explained. Also, the Unplugged session is pretty good, showing that this group are really good live.
For fans of Nickelback, like myself, you buy it and enjoy it! For hard rock and nu metal fans, you might consider this, and, you never know, you might like it too!

this tune is awesome and is well worth a listen even if you dont have the time! if you liked any of the nirvana or pearl jam or stained's track it's been a while -you will absolutely love this tune!

I bought this single as I discovered that 2 acoustic songs were included on the CD. As a massive Nickelback fan already, I own "All the Right Reasons" so already knew and loved the single. However the 2 extra acoustic tracks are absolutely brilliant. So muc power & energy - and with the background audience cheers, you almost feel as if you're listening to the original recordings! For those poor souls (me included) who cannot get to the USA for a concert, this is brilliance. I would heartily recommend this on the strength of the acoustic tracks alone, whether or not you are already familiar with the genius of Nickelback!!!

The State [VINYL]

First off, The State is the second best album by Nickelback(slightly inferior to Curb). Worthy to say is definitely the best song here, I've tried but find it difficult to find comparisons for this song.
Not Leavin' Yet is great and can be compared to Where do I hide. Cowboy Hat also is a great song musically and lyrically, perhaps the best lyrically. (no comparisons have been found.) Leader of Men is the biggest hit and reminds me a great deal of Nirvana's Come as you are.
There is no one clear comparison for the state though perhaps the best is The Long Road

Silver Side Up

Nickelbacks's second LP is headed up with the first single 'How You Remind Me,' which is strong and well-sung. This single is seriously promising, but the trouble is that when you mix it in with the rest of the album, it doesn't really stand out that much - because it is all so good! When heard at first, they are usually compared to Aaron Lewis' Staind, but having heard both of the current albums from these two bands, this is just a bit better. THe riffs are impressive, the guitars are heavy and distorted, yet amazingly calm and impressively mixed to the vocals. Overall, the album does feel a bit cut short, with only about 10 tracks, but all of these are sheer class. A must buy.
