Good songs - nothing stands out.

Half of the songs on this cd were already available on the 7" singles and Never trust a hippy ep that preceded this release(some in slighlty different formats)

I like it better than Valuum and less than Errorism

Also the double cd set doesn't inlcude two cd's of NoFX music

The second disc is a Fat Wreck Chords sampler - although this isn't mentioned on the packaging

This as got to be one of my favourites of Nofx,it contains there best track 'don't call me white',but all the other tracks are outstanding.Let the cd cotinue for hidden larking about inthe studio.

Never Trust a Hippy

Damn this is good! this is what NoFX are supposed to sound like. 'The War On Errorism' was pretty good, but they lost their way with some tracks. This EP has got that puink rock attitude back & every song is just really really catchy & so lyrically clever.
NoFX are clearly on top form, and showcasing 2 tracks off the forthcoming 'Wolves in Wolves' Clothing' album, it's got me and a few other NoFX fans pretty excited. If it's all as good as this then we're in for a treat.

Short EP but some great songs, well worth it for any fan of punk.

The Greatest Songs Ever Written (By Us)

As i said above, this is a must have for all NoFX fans, and punk rock fans in general!!

In my opinion not all these songs are their best but most of them are! with the all new "Wore Out The Soles Of My Party Boots" being one of my favourites.

In my opinion NoFX are the greatest Punk Rock band ever and if you are just starting to get into them but dont want to buy all of their many albums then this would be a great cd to start with!!

There are top songs from throughout NoFX's long history and the cd also includes a great (and extremely funny and interesting) book with tons of cool pictures of the band.

To sum up, this is a must have cd for all real punk fans, and a great way to get into NoFX.

this album is well above average...with some real belters on the cd.the first 5 tracks are awesome 180 degress is punk rock.champs elysees is the worst by far,dads bad news and quart in session are good...monosyllabic girl is just class

They've Actually Gotten Worse Live

Good live album - lots of joking between Mike Melvin and Hefe, which is funny at first but gets tired after a few listens.

Your wrong is sped up and Whoops I OD'ed is played by the whole band

The eight songs in six minutes is good

Like the other review on this page says - they start The Decline but it fades after a minute which is very disapointing

Not many songs are repeated from the first official live album I heard they suck live - which is good, only Stickin in my eye

No collection of mere cast-offs (but then NOFX seem to have a grasp of irony that is almost unique among Americans), this collection of 47 tracks contains some of the band's finest work. Some songs - such as Murder the Government, Eat the Meek and I'm Telling Tim - crop up in slightly different form on other albums, while others are drawn from B-sides, compilations and the previously 7"-only Surfer and Fuck the Kids EPs. For your money, you get punk, ska, hardcore, serious tracks, hilarious tracks and covers. Heavy Petting Zoo

this is the sixth nofx album and possibly the best,what you get is thirteen songs that slay and dazzle in terms of punk rock utter enjoyment,heavy petting zoo is an album that refuses to take itself seriously but still delivers messages in between all the crazy and warped lyrics and themes of the songs.
all of the songs clock in at under four minutes so every second is pure gold,all of the songs are enjoyable but special mention can fall at the feet of songs such as freedom like a shopping cart,bleeding heart disease,liza,whats the matter with kids today?,whatever didi wants and drop the world,in truth they are all good,if you like to rock with a smile splattered all over your face then this album will do the trick

Pump Up the Valuum

It is clear that NOFX are not a serious band they are just having fun which is what i like about them. This CD has some very catchy songs on it and deserves 4 stars for the opening trck, whats the matter with parents today, Dinosaurs will die, thank god its monday, and the last song and also for the wicked gutiar solos on some of the songs. But it is let down buy the over the top humour, on thier other albums they have a few silly and funny songs but on this one they have gone over the top, 'My Vagina and louise are sick but catchy but i wouldnt go around singing it, and the rest are mainly about drugs which gets boring.Also thier are not really meaningful songs like the other albums such as 'Falling in love'(So long..) or Drop the world (heavy petting zoo) etc. My advice ... White Trash Two Heebs & A Bean

This is an absolutely superb album, packed with the kind of catchy and witty songs that afficionados of the American Hardcore scene have come to expect from this band. If you're into energetic guitar music and like to sing along, this is an essential purchase. "Please Play This Song On The Radio" says all that needs to be said about current chart acts, but in a song that none of them could ever hope to write, let alone carry off. If you're a fan of Bad Religion or early Offspring, you'll know all about this band. If you're not, you should give them a go - there'll almost certainly be several songs you like and a couple you absolutely love.
