This was an extremely difficult soundtrack to find at a cheap price, until I realized it was worth far more than any price on the internet or in the shops. With four discs, it is worth every penny. Out of all the soundtracks I have bought, this is clearly the best one by far. Every single last track on this sountrack is very well constructed and composed, creating imagination and various moods. I think that it is a fantastic album and definately deserves a 10/10. If you are planning to buy it but not sure, I wouldn't bother with downloading a few tracks to test out first because you will love it all. It has a massive 91 tracks in all as well. Magnificent. I love it. A must-buy for all soundtrack lovers.

Silent Hill, Vol. 2

Silent Hill 2 is unique, in that it's more like a piece of literature than a game, the story is so intricate, and tells a deeply unsettling tale about mental illness and explores the possibility that reality is subjective.

The beauty of this story is reflected perfectly by the soundtrack as some songs are mournful, others sound almost hopeful while others convey a deep sadness.

I think people who have played and enjoyed the game will have an apreciation for this as it will remind them of elements of the story, and people who have never played the game will enjoy it just as much for being beautiful music.

Jet Set Radio Future was one of the first Xbox games I played, having gotten the pack with both it and Sega GT included. In fact, it soon became established as my favourite due to the great visuals, addictive gameplay, and of course, the amazing soundtrack. So, if you're considering buying this CD, it's worth getting the game too.
If you have played the game, you will know that the soundtrack consists of a great mix of J-pop and J-rock. Even if you don't like them, you have to admit they suit the game to a T. However, I am sure that the majority of people who own the game have had at least one of the songs stuck in their head.

Driv3r: The Soundtrack

The Driv3r soundtrack is the perfect match for the game. The tracks are fast paced and edgy and Iggy Pop lends an ominous presence to what is almost a concept album. It is interesting that Atari have gone for a mixture of signed and up and coming artists. The Phantom Planet and Iggy tracks are already well known and fit well, I was also particularly impressed with Stateless and Okuniev who I had never heard before. There are also some cool features like the making of and codes. A real essential for the Driv3r fan and recommended even if you have never played the game.
