. Float Like a Butterflyby: Pama International Release Date November 22, 2004 Featuring members of Paul Weller's band, The Specials, Galliano, Push and a guest slot from Madness' Lee Thompson. Although not quite up to the standard of their mightily impressive debut, Float like a Butterfly is equally as musically accomplished as you would expect from something of a 'supergroup,' and still a good album. From tracks like 'Man Bites Dog' show a little ska anguish creeping into the usual good time reggae/rocksteady mix, whereas 'Burn my House Down' is more on the more contemplative side. Of course no studio album is ever a substitute for seeing a band live, but this is an excellent representation of Pama International's range - long may it continue. |
