if your a partridge fan then this is a better mix than the other hits albums and if your also a david fan then this is the album to buy not all
the hit singeils are on hear sadly and a album of all the singeils with bsides wouid do better but once youve put this cd on your be tansfromed
back to yester year and for that reson alone its well worth buying as ok all theses songs can be got on cd on other albums yes but now their all on one disc
the reson not all davids hits are on hear is because sony doesnt have the rights to them yet
if your whating more a david hits cd then buy then and now but if you like
david and keith then id say you shouid buy bouth cds

This is the nearest thing to a definitive David Cassidy Greatest Hits collection - up to 1974 when he left Bell records and went to RCA to do "I Write the Songs" and his few remaining hits thereafter. "Then and Now" has inferior re-recordings of some of these songs which miss the essence of the originals' vitality and sense of fun. The only problems with this album are: 1. "I Am a Clown" is butchered with the first verse mercilessly chopped off altogether so it begins with the chorus; 2. No "Puppy Song" which was a UK #1 (with Daydreamer as a double A side) and one of my favourites - can't imagine why they forgot it; 3. One or two unnecessary cheesy Partridge Family numbers like "Point me in the Direction" which shouldn't have been included; and ... Read More:

to be totally honest this is not my fave partridge record. but some of the songs have as much quality as the other records but on the whole not as good.The song 'somthings wrong' is the most mature song on the album. The album is still packed with partidge style the harmonies. still a good listen, may take longer to get into it as it would anyother partrigde lp.
