The Best Classical Album in the World...Ever!

I have never been into classical music, however the TV programs Maestro and Last Choir standing (I know trash TV... sorry) made me realise I did like some classical music. So time to test that theory, and of course this CD fitted the bill perfectly, a bit of everything and 99% you will probably know. Good album, maybe I may have discovered culture :-)

Every year at this time Classic FM bring out a new triple CD set - and this year's is even better than the ones that have come before. I didn't think they'd be able to better "Time to Relax", which was last year's album - but they have! And they've done it in some style too by choosing music from their evening programme "Smooth Classics at Seven", which is presented by the legendary John Brunning. I can't recommend this album enough. And it does just what it says on the box. I've got my copy in the car at the moment - it's perfect as an antidote to a journey from Hull to Manchester on the M62 every morning. Peace - Pure Classical Calm

I am currently in my first year at university and rapidly approaching exams....I was looking for a calming, relaxing sound to help me focus and stay positive - this did the trick! I am new to classical music so I wanted somethng that would be soothing and not too dramatic - admittidly some of the tracks are quite lively, but this provides a contrast to the more chilled tracks. You may also recognise some of the pieces from the big screen (Harry Potter/Lord of the Rings...), adverts and tv programmes - at last that tune that was stuck in your head can be granted full appreciation. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Premium Edition [Box Set]

The complete piano concertos performed by Carmen Piazzini are worth far more than the price I paid. Also included are the complete piano sonatas yet again performed by Piazzini and two cd's of piano for two pianos with Piazzini and Alfredo Perl.

The rest are by less well known orchestras and performers but what a bargain.

I have also ordered the Beethoven Premium Edition and await with baited breath to see if it is as good.

Even if you have got many other Mozart performances buy this as you will not purchase a better bargain.

Amazing.
