Peter Kruders project, Peace Orchestra, is possibly one of the most "perfect" minimalist Lounge albums ever made!

Whenever I get tired of sound, beats, etc, and want to find something inspirational I always float to Peace Orchestra. It always brings me back to the simple joy of music-listening again, back to the elements which make all the difference.

But it is also one of those albums that was made for remixing...it had to happen. While the original tracks are so pure that you almost do not want to mess with them, they are also begging for a million and one alternate expressions.

Reset is kinda like "pimp my CD!"

Excellent Album. This is an intellegent piece of mastery and must be added to any self respecting individuals record collection. Superb basslines, funky vibes and interesting compositions make this a world beater. Id also recommend the remixed version of this album (Reset: Remixes), which is equally superb.

This is an absolute bargain: a dvd of the first concert of the World Orchestra for Peace conducted by Solti - including a short introduction by the maestro as well as a rehearsal sequence - plus a cd conducted by Gergiev to celebrate the Orchestra's 10th anniversary.There was only very limited rehearsal time available in each cases, though one would never suspect it for a moment. Both orchestras (there has been some change of personnel over the years) respond with performances of remarkable homogeneity and warmth, a wonderful tribute to the work of the two maestros in inspiring hand-picked musicians to even greater heights than one would have expected. This is my personal Record of the Year 2005.
