This album was great for any Fish listener. While not as Ska-heavy as Turn the Radio Off and Why do they Rock so Hard, it is a refreshing turn around from Cheer Up, which was completely different from all other RBF albums and the peak of them being sell outs. This album lyrically bashes their record label as well as the whole music industry more than ever before, and ultimately, finally freed them from Jive. I'd describe RBF as the happiest angry band ever, and this album brings it out entirely. These lyrics are some of the most anger-filled words ever, tied in with RBF's signiture up-beat sound. I'd recommend this album for all lovers of the RBF, young and old.

Your opinion of this record is all down to your perspective. If you already love Reel Big Fish (which for the record I do) and just want them to churn out the same thing over and over, then this album delivers in spades. If however, you like bands that like to develop and try some new things this will disappoint.
This album features a cover of Phil Collins' "Another Day In Paradise" in a ska-punk style. If the idea of ska-punk covers of popular hits still amuses and appeals to you as something fresh, then you will love this version and it is exactly as you would imagine it to be. If however, you think this smacks of "ticking the boxes" and is a lazy going-through-the-motions type of manouvre that might still work live but wears a little ... Read More:

Wednesday 25th 2006, 7:00 PM. This was when I saw Reel Big Fish at Aylesbury Civic Centre. It was the first gig I ever saw and will probably always be my most memorable. they were perfect. the energy they gave off and the quality of their performance. They made us all go crazy. Mosh pits and the whole crowd smiling. They made us sing, they made us laugh, made my friend cry, they made us angry (when they left the stage before the encore. Quote me: "Get your asses back on stage!")and they made us cheer like it was 1999 all over again. The encore kicked ass
Zoom forward 1 year. I pick up "Our live album is better than your live album". All that needs to be said lies on the cover. It was the exact same energy and quality all over again. ... Read More:

This is the first RBF album I ever heard, and I definately prefer it to 'We're not happy till you're not happy'
A good buy, quite upbeat musically, with depressing but sarcastic lyrics which are thoroughly enjoyable. I like pretty much every song on this album, there are very few weak tracks.
Release Date May 23, 2005
This is by far the best Reel Big Fish album i own. All the best songs like Take on Me , S.R and I Want Your Girlfriend to be My Girlfriend Too. Great for new RBF fans. Definitely worth the money plus more!

This is a great album, each tune is catchy and you'll be singing it for days. There are some great lines in the lyrics.
Towards the end, it starts to draw away from the comical ska and goes more quiet and not as upbeat. Shame. Still, lots of great tracks and the album is rythmically excellent. Well worth its price!

This is the first RBF Album i heard fully and it got me hooked! The sound quality isnt exactly amazing but it doesn't stand in the way of the fact that there are some amazing songs on this album. You may reconise some songs which have been remastered on there later albums, you can see how the songs started out and have become the songs we know and love today! Get it ASAP!!!

wat can i say...this is a musical masterpiece. One of the very first reel big fish EP's this captures every ounce of brilliance and energy that the band put towards its music. Aarron Barret and co have really out done themselves this time: the songs are upbeat, yet melodic at the same time; they are easy on the ear, and most importantly they hook you onto them, meaning you will come back and listen for more. After listening to this EP i went out and bought my first proper Reel big Fish album, "cheer up" and my love for "the Fish" has grown from there. every song is amazing and every song is different, which is good because it makes the bands sound a unique one. definetly one of the best CD/EP's in my collection and im glad that i have had the chance to review this ... This album is one of the best ska punk CDs ever and it is so easy to listen to and get hooked on. All the songs are amazing especially "somebody hates me". Get this if you like bands like Less Than Jake or Mad Caddies because Reel Big Fish are miles better.
