Sacred Spirit Vol.1: Chants & Dances of the Native Americans

As someone who is proud to have Red blood (!) I find this actually not too bad. This is NOT Native American-recorded, however, "Brave" makes no secret of the fact he is Austrian, and the music is not offensive.
In fact, it is a slightly New Agey mix of Native chanting and singing, with flute, sampling of birds occasionally, all against a backing track which is thoughtfully and at times very skillfully put together.

Suitable for everything from headphones while you read, quiet music as you have a nap, calming music to relax boisterous small children, to background music for gift/book shops and Alternative Therapists.

However, volume 2 is better!

Sacred Spirit Vol. 2 - A Culture Clash

Great Album with a huge variety of interesting musical and philosophical themes. Excellent sound quality and production throughout. If you're in to new age electronic music you'll love the first couple of tracks - sensational. The rest sounds slightly off the wall at first but grows on you errily. I spent an entire evening with this album playing repeatedly while I was doing some housework and found it slightly mesmerizing.
To my mind Claus Zundel is one of the most consistently interesting producers out there. If you don't know his music check him out - any B-Tribe album or in any of his many guises. You're in for a real treat. Peter Taylor

I first heard Sacred Spirit on the 'One World' album, which featured their track "Yeha Noha". I liked the track so much that I did a bit of research on Amazon into what people thought of this band and they got very good reviews.

I decided to take a chance and purchase their Album entitled Chants & Dances of The Native Americans, which arrived today. I am now listening to the album again for the third time and I've got to say that I just love it! It has me tapping my feet, it has me tearful and it has me feeling so serene and peaceful. It has to be one of the best purchases I have ever made.

I am so glad I looked at the reviews of this album and I look forward to purchasing more from Sacred Spirit!
