This album can make you feel mournful, angry, contemplative and elated in one sitting and will always leave you wanting more. Elect the Dead *is* hard listening and even the most dedicated previous System fans might take time to adjust to it but once you've managed to get it in to your head it'll never leave.

This CD would not play on my player, due to the heavy DRM - seemed to work intermittently on a different, brand new CD player, but not my 10 year old Arcam, my main player. Complained to record label who did not even reply to me. Strangely the bonus disc played fine!
