The Worst Album... by the Shirehorses is a classic of the novelty music genre. This, however, is not. It's not really very funny! F****** around is seriously embarrassing lads, to substitute swearing for humour is not on, and the songs they choose to parody are not as privvy to good lyrical changes. Having said that, there are moments of greatness - the Indecipherable Boys track is what Mark and Lard are best at, and Bellow is nicely done. However, the greatest moment you will hear for yourself is at the end of If You Tolerate This Piss - one of those moments between the two that makes them one of the great double acts of our time.

Okay, so I like M and The Boy L as much as the next sausage-roll-on-the-shelf. But I think this album lacks the bravado of other parody artists. I'm afraid it is not up there amounst the ranks of Werid AL. Sorry chaps :(
