It would be wrong to say that I have a particular problem with this album, but I can't help but be disappointed for the following reasons:

- This does indeed coincide with her tour, but there are songs in her set-list for the tour which are not on the album but are rarer and therefore should have been, (Typical Male for example) so I don't quite know how she worked it all out.

- The only reason I was excited about this album was due to the "rare" live tracks; well, sadly, every single track apart from "Let's Stay Together" is already available on iTunes! Simply the Best

Simply The Best Of Tina Turner... and it is just that. Because although it contains many of the best hits, it omits many loved and essential songs, but it picks the best, intertwines it with the new and is almost full as it contain 18 tracks. So we get some of the very early, to the very latest new songs for the compilation.
The cover has an iconic image of Tina, the booklet has a few nice photos and the back page features a four album Discography. The songs themselves are great, although the 90's Version of `Nutbush City Limits' is questionable, definitely not a patch on the original or the 1993 Soundtrack Version which is on a par with the original. produced by phil spector need i say anymore love phil spector the wall of sound this album flopped in america but in britain it was successful see britain knows talent when it sees it!! tracks that i love on here are of course river deep mountain high,everyday i have to cry,fool in love,save the last dance for me the whole album is fab too be honest though but there the ones that stand out for me the sound quality isant the best but thats the whole idea to have that old sound it was made in the 60s classic buy it!!

This is a mixture of songs written by admirers, and others that were already well known. It's the Queen of raunchiness herself and her unmistakable delivery that make this album what it is.
I'm not a massive Tina Turner fan..... probobly because for me her later releases didn't push her to the dizzy heights of this masterpiece.

Foreign Affair

This Edition of Tina Turner's amazing Foreign Affair album is an absolutely stunning package. It has the Original album, which is particularly interesting as it was recorded will a full band, no synthesisers and multitracking just pure, raw music. And it shows in the content, it sounds more consistent and fresh, even to this day, than her previous 1980's albums. It just has a good flow and all the songs sound like a Unit, they belong together. However they are in no way repetitive or `samey'
