. Jazzinby: Tito Puente, India Release Date October 11, 1999 I had heard of India through her work with MAW and was already a big fan of her vocal talents. On this album she really goes to town, along with Tito Puente who's amazing hands work the vibes like a dream. The Count Basie orchestra provide the perfect accompaniment, big double bass sounds and every other instrument you could hope to hear on one album. The title track gets straight in to it with Indias vocal gymnastics over a range of 4 octaves and a very catchy number, be warned; If you listen to this tune before work you will be trying to sing it all day.
