This guy is brilliant! I mean normally, I'm not really into RnB or Hip-hop, but I love the way tobymac jus merges about 10 different genres into one. And his songs are so different from each other!

So if you're tired of crappy charts RnB that talks about nothing and is all the same, get this! Or if you're tired of bands that do the same music over and over again, this is for you. Or if you want to broaden your tastes n hear some very different stuff, this is again for you!

Welcome to Diverse City

Diverse City more than lives up to its name. Tobsters returns with overall a more mature and forthright album lyrically, with a more serious tone to all the tracks. There are some real thoughtful moments such as on the excellently produced Atmosphere and Stories. This guy just cant write a bad song, he doesnt know how to.

But the real catchers on this album are the massive thumping track of The Slam and Il M I, both of these songs have some of the best production ever man. Just listen to the drum rhythm on Il m i, it will literally blow your head off.

I always loved DC TALK, such a great group. Sad that they disbanded. But i can find respite in the fact that all the guys are still working on solo projects. Tobymacs to me are the best. Just for diversity and rawness and the whole feeling of joy i get from rocking to all of this guys incredible stuff.

Whereas Kevin Max is great but more of an alternative artist and therefore not likely to be as popular as tobs, and with Tait being just simply a pop rock group, its good to have just plain diversity. Dont get me wrong, i love both the other guys solo projects, but not quite as much as tobsters.
