I got this CD for Christmas on the basis that my wife must have seen it in my 'Items Recently Viewed' section on Amazon (good old Amazon!) and bought it for me as a stocking filler. Psychedelia is such a broad term - if I could define it then maybe I could write about music for a living - how exciting that would be! However all of the elements of quality 'psyche' are here for all - trippy lyrics, ethereal effects, fuzzy guitars, eastern elements - and here too we have the superb vocal skills of Dorothy Moskowitz. There is a lot of experimentation on this album (some great and very informative sleeve notes give a good background) but fortunately with the experiments come good tunes too. The Presidents of the United States of America

This album was produced by one of the most unique bands out there, and it is a true masterpiece. The lyrics don't ever really mean anything, it's just a whole lot of fun listening to songs about peaches, kitties and an old man. The genius behind the band is Chris Ballew and even though he and his colleague have 5 strings between their 2 guitars (a bassguit and a guitbass, apparently) the sound is immense. And do not overlook the vocals either, Ballew has an incredible voice and his backup fits perfectly.

And to top it all off, the most rockin' song EVER is on this CD, "Kick out the Jams". If you are ever feeling a bit down, just put this on at full blast and you cannot help but feel a sense of total joy.

These Are the Good Times People

If you like the Presidents then this album won't disappoint. If you're looking for them to have shown some evidence of having moved forward then this isn't the album for you.

If you liked the 1st album you will love this one. The presidents are back with more back porch rocking music. This album will have you air-gituaring along in no time. The sound is very similar to the 1st album but with all new tunes and great lyrics. My favorite tracks are volcano and puffy little shoes. This is a must buy for any fans of the presidents od the usa

Pure Frosting

I found this album to be both uplifting and easy to listen. the only problem is that it is the
last offering from the boys except the poor Giffafes album from chris. Its only for the die-die hard PUSA fan.
Good stuff though. CLEVELAND ROCKS

i felt really lucky to find this and was thrilled the moment i put it on, having heard the other 4 pusa albums first i can seriously say this is some of their best work. tigerbomb is a cool love song and the demo version gives it an extra twist.

my favourite tracks are jazz guy, Jupiter, blank baby and death star. "you were there greatest weapon ever manufactured.

if you love what pusa have don in the past and recently, you will love this album as it has some of their greatest work on it. 5 peaches out of five
