Easy Virtue OST

Such a brilliant soundtrack to a great movie! Saw it at the LFF and made me laugh so much! Best film I saw in the festival! The soundtrack makes the film even more entertaining- the reworkings of some of the contemporary songs are really excellent. Marius De Vries who did Moulin Rouge has outdone himself!

The Noel Coward and the Cole Porter tracks are a joy as always and Ben Barnes and Jessica Biel really impress with their vocals!

Loved the movie. Love love love the soundtrack!

Shrek

My family and I loved the movie Shrek (of course!), and for Christmas my eleven-year-old daughter asked for this soundtrack. We got it for her, and we are all very happy! The songs sound wonderful: crisp and clear. My whole family recommends this wonderful CD to you.

Plus, I must say that with this soundtrack is so wonderful that I would recommend it even to those who have never seen the movie. It's absolutely great!

Chilled R&B: 40 Laid-Back R&B Anthems

If you want a collection of some of the best ever R&B songs, compressed into 2 CDs then this is definitely one of the best collections around.

However, this is a variety of R&B from the last 15 years - so don't buy this if you're expecting the latest R&B songs to fill both CDs.

Usually on a double CD you'll find a handful of "filler" songs, but this isn't the case on Chilled R&B - they're all great examples. Great music for relaxing to at the weekend and highly recommended.

Classical 2008

This 2CD release is a great collection of classical music which bears no real relevance to the 2008 in the title other than being released almost (!) in 2008.

The only common factor between all the tracks is that they are all, without exception, performed by top artists, making the album both highly recommended and, considering the numerous different performers who are included, guaranteed to please most listeners.

The album doesn't make any 'Best of', 'Ultimate' or 'The Only One You'll ever Need' claims because quite simply anyone who likes it will probably want more, the obvious choice of course is the inevitable 'Classical 2009' release next year.

Dreamboats & Petticoats Presents Foot Tappers

This CD obviously contains some great instrumentals from the 1960's.
I can say I was there the first time around and grew up with these sounds, anyway enough of my mumblings back to the CD, I won't disect it like others have all I will say is most people into instrumentals will already have the Shadows tracks, the other tracks are fine and blend in well, so go on order the CD from Amazon and get your dose of nostalga and if you were there first time around all the better hearing music being played using real instruments.

Let me begin my saying that such a low price for 101 songs is great value in any case, but when around 95 of the songs are brilliant, it's bargain basement stuff.

This is a wonderful collection of country music hits. It is fair to say that the majority of tracks here are from the golden age of country music, but interspersed throughout the album are a few catchy modern tracks that make the collection beautifully balanced, allowing for a smoother, less overwhelming experience for the modern listener. Many of the tracks are instantly recognisable, with all the massive hits there, "The Gambler", "9 to 5", "Always on my Mind", "Ring of Fire" to name a few. Well, you just have to look at the track listing to see this is probably the best Christmas CD you're ever going to buy! Imagine having Heavy Metal Christmas songs playing when your friends and family drop around during the festive season. Honestly, this is the best Christmas CD I've heard, ever!
