It also has live versions of classics from Welcome to Hell and Black Metal. This is a well worth getting album, and features the best tracks from these excellent albums, two of which aren't available any more! It's heavy, fast and key all the key tracks from the albums are here, including Prime Evil, Parasite, Harder than ever, Temples of Ice and Tribes. Venom are a very under rated band and not all their original albums are easy to find, so this is a really good release. |

It's just 29'worth of just highlights from the Live '90 vhs (which is a gem in its own right). Only 10 songs from a 16 track setlist (why has the whole concert not been included, maybe due to legal rights ?) The performance is from the Prime Evil Tour with then freshman Tony Dolan on bass and vox; the bass playing is AWESOME and there's a rythmic guitarrist -Al Barnes- who gives the sound yet more density. The renditions of the classics have Dolan's personal twists -of VERY good taste- and the overall sound is very good. You'll be much better off getting the used Live '90 VHS, though, which doesn't stand a chance in hell of being re-edited on dvd since the whole of the line ... Read More: |
