The Very Best of the Wombles

I've little to add to the excellent reviews already given for this album. This is a super cd, full of fun brilliantly composed happy songs that will not fail to make you or your little ones smile, or giggle hysterically as you dance around the living room with them. I've yet to find a childrens album that tops it.

The Best Wombles Album So Far

As an erroneous die hard fan of Mike Batt and his creation,i wonder why they decided to change producers with this album. Great uncle bulgaria has produced somewhat of a muddy mix with not much top end. A bit hard to swallow as it was recorded at THE MANOR where mike resides on a regular basis. a very disappointing album for the wombles. Lets hope there is a return to form on the next one.

The Wombles Collection

I now this seems corny and very very sad for a 20 something to be writing about the Womble "classics", especially as I didnt even really like the programme much....but I remember the school trip with mum and my brother singing at the top of our voices to nothing but the Womble's Greatest Hits! We had it on tape, and my mum still has it, although its been warped by the sun after being left on the dashboard of her car!
My mum loved that album, and this one encompasses all that were on that one that I can remember (and I can still remember all the words too!), and a load of others that I hadn't heard of. I will of course have to buy one for her too now!!
My favorites were: Womble of the Universe, Miss Adelaide, Wipe those Womble tears ... Read More:
