If we look at offensiveness on a scale of say, 10 for the Holocaust, dropping to maybe a 7 or 8 for child abuse and poverty respectively, with perhaps the collected works of Scouting For Girls, the Script and James Blunt registering at a respectable 1, then the answer to the posited question is a resounding NO. How could something so painstakingly self-conscious and contrived as this be deemed offensive by anyone?

If you'll indulge me a second, here's a little quote from Mariah Carey from a few years back:

This was the first album I bought by the "Yeah Yeah Yeahs". It is a great album with a difined mixture between the tracks. Some are full of energy and others are very emotional. All in all it is a great album and covinced me to buy the other albums of thiers.

I can not warm to this album. I want to, I'm playing it over and over, giving it a break for a couple of days and trying again but no luck. Ok, I thought, try them live. I went to their concert on Tuesday in Düsseldorf. No better, I'm afraid - I left after half an hour. The only track that caused an eyebrow raise, I pleasant grin and a tapping foot was 'Satan Said Dance'. The rest was just noise that eventually drove me out.

the concert footage and the videos on the dvd give you about two hours of the group's music.if you are a hardcore fan then you will love this dvd,casual fans will be disappointed.the music is fine,but karen lets the side down.she spits on stage,48 minutes into the concert she spits half eaten grapes into the audience,at times she gives up singing and just rams her mike into her mouth.hopefully she will not behave like this on the band's next tour.please note,on some dvd players this disc will play back in black and white.
