Phoenix [Ltd Edition] [Bonus DVD]

I don't think 2 stars is a justified score, and while I certainly don't think Phoenix is Zebrahead's best work, I do think it's a great pop-punk album with more to offer than Broadcast To The World.

In my opinion Matty sounds a lot nicer with his vocals in Phoenix than in Broadcast. I think this is mostly thanks to the way the album is produced, but nonetheless it is nicer to listen to. It's clear that some effort has gone into trying to throw some original ideas for this album. Ali's rapping style is as distinctive as ever for most of the CD, but on a couple of the tracks you can tell he's gone for a slightly different sound (All for None and None For All, Hit The Ground). Mfzb

I first heard " Alone " and " Falling Apart " on the wrestling game WWE Smackdown Vs Raw. I liked Falling Apart quite alot, it was an amazing song, punky, hard rock, fast, powerful. SO i thought i would see if they had any albums with these songs on, and they did, this one " MFZB ". I wasn't sure if i should of bought this or not, if i would of liked any of the songs, but i took a chance and bought it for this remarkable price. Now, i am so glad i had made that choice

Broadcast to the World

This album doesnt fail to give you your moneys worth at all. this is the best zebrahead album yet without doubt and if u are considering buying it.....do . if you are a fan of punk music , this CD will have lots to offer you. with fast paced songs such as enemy and songs as catchy as anthem you really cant go wrong. No song on this album is bad and they all have somthing very good to offer. in total this is an amazing album

Waste of Mind

Love the album. If you've heard and loved Aerosmith/Run DMC- 'walk this way' and wondered if there's any fusions of rap and rock, then look no further. Granted, zebrahead is primarily a pop punk band (as proved on later albums) but this album is unique in its own right.

1. Check 7.5/10 As heard on Tony Hawks 4. Great Chorus and mainstream sounding
2. Get Back 9/10 As reviewed on playmate of the year (UK Version) zebraheads most famous song, great flow, great chorus
3. Real Me 8/10
4. Someday 9/10 agressive sounding, maybe angry but melodic and well put together
5. Waste of Mind 8/10 Change of pace, bit more experimental but still pop punk.
6. Feel this way 8.5/10 More alt rock fused with rap, laid back

I love Zebrahead and i love this album- it is catchy, punky, at times cheesy- everything you would expect from these guys. the whole cd is a tongue in cheek joke with the occasional serious note. Lyriclaly, they are clever and perceptive words but with a great hip hop edge! Awesome and Rad all at once!

Waste of MFZB

the tracks are obviously not quite up to the standard as th eones that made it onto mfzb (hence why they are on it!!) but any zebrahead fan should own this too, if only for the cool cover version of wannabe by the spice girls!

this song kicks some serious ass. If you ever see the album anywhere do not hesitate in getting it. there are more pop-rock songs like this and there's hip-hop, metal, everything. This band should be massive over here. They're so much better than Lit, although Lit are pretty good. Get it if you like Blink 182, the Ataris, Lit, Limp Bizkit. and check out cousin oliver.
