I bought this album as a teenager and loved it when I first bought it - as the years have gone by, I've moved onto other genres, but I thought I'd put this CD on for the old times sake.

It is still a brilliant album, and that's coming from someone who is no longer a fan of hip hop. Some really catchy songs in there, and some songs downright makes you laugh out loud. 'Ain't Nuttin But Music', 'Purple Pills', 'Fight Music', 'Devil's Night', 'Revelation' and 'Girls' are the best tracks in the album, but there are no real weak songs.

The only downside I can think of is that this album is not as lyrically deep or emotional as Eminem's earlier solo work - but that would be an unfair comparison - I don't think D12 are trying ... Read More:

This is a classic D12 song, the song displays everything the group is about. The song itself has a deeper mean than the title shows. The song displays some of the problem that have effected the youth of today and how they pick up the blame for it. The song is 'up-beat' with an agressive tone to it, this makes the song a little clearer. If you have seen the video it displays a violent theme. The idea being that you should have to be of any sex or race to listen to the song 'basicaly it's fight music'. Its one of those song which you dont get board of. Once again it is a politically challenging song, in which all of D12 pick holes in the government. To sum it up the idea of the song is that all of the hate which gets thrown at the youth, is ... This tune is classic! It has all the hallmarks of hip hop genius! Quick fire rapping from Slim, Proof, Kuniva, Bizarre, Kon Artis and the other one makes this the Dirty Dozen's best work to date! Definately my fav. song of the year so far,and I cant wait for the album (devil's night) to drop. This is absolute GRAVY!
