It's funny to read the negative reviews of 808s & Heartbreak based on the fact that Kanye has neglected his hop-hop/rap roots. For those short-sighted people, they are missing out on hearing what I believe to be one of the albums of the year.

I've never bought a Kanye album before, even though I have picked up the various singles released from all his albums. So I kinda liked him, but never really committed to him by taking the ultimate plunge. On hearing Love Lockdown, I was completely blown away. The contrast between the sparse, quiet moments of the track and the bits where the explosion of drums kick in and Kanye gets all emotional is pure musically brilliance! And that's the point. Much of the time bands who have gone into hibernation return with albums which are mere shadows of their previous work. This album is the complete opposite and successfully captures the eerie tones which occupy many of their best songs. I simply cannot pick a favourite from an album which oozes style.

Well, I was there at the gig in MK and it was amazing, so have been waiting AGES for this to come out, and it finally came today :)

When the DVD started up, the audio was a bit distorted, but I changed the settings and it was fine until half way through, when it went off again, but then was ok!! Will give it another run to and check settings to see that it's not a problem with the disc! Be interesting to see if anyone else's does this?!!

Well, to the content, wow....brought all the memories flooding back. We were at the bottom of the grass bank at the back, slightly to the left, so was cool to see some footage on the stage close up, and also out over the arena that we couldn't see from that far back.

The Carter 3 is a good album , but is Waynes weakest by far.
If you havnt heard the old Carters then i suggest that you listen to them before claiming C3 is Waynes greatest album.
Dont get me wrong C3 is still a top album ( 5 Stars ) but i think it is highly overated.
Most Recognisable Tracks include Lil Waynes hit Lollipop Ft Static Major.
A Millie
And Got Money Ft T-Pain
Artist such as Juelz Santana, Fabolous, Bobby Valentino and Jay-Z also feature among others.
I recomend this album to anyone but suggest that listeners also listen to Waynes early work Eg. The Carters 1 & 2 , 500 Degreez.
Also Waynes Mixtapes Eg. The Droughts , Dedications , The Leaks.

I saw Nitin play in Bristol in early November 2008 and he gave the best performance of the 5 times I have seen him. A delicate and sensitive gig, with Nitin mainly playing acoustic guitar, accompanied by some sublime cello playing and indian flute and tabla playing - all mixed with dreamy singing. This album reflects all that. A true concept album - a 45 minute journey through life today. Such a wide variety of influnces - how wrong the last reviewer is! This is a great Nitin album,and I've loved him from the start. Turn it on, lie back on the sofa and let yourself drift away.

Well i do not write reviews but I felt I had to add to hype up this album, if you buy a lot of black music albums you will greatly enjoy this album, even if you can not listen to this album on this site you will love it, songs So cold, Cant say go, Ill never love again. If i could put my own money to market this guy I would because the music is that good. He is there with Justin Timberlake, marques houston, Jagged edge, Usher, music wise that is. If i could give you a money back quarantee I would I know after you have been listening to it you will be insipired to write a review like this, Buy and Enjoy because if you love black music or the artists i mentioned you will love this one
