Christmas is coming so save your cash! Why purchase something you can get for free or under 5 pounds.
Go to YourIpod.co.cc and sign up. Complete ONE offer - I would recommend Gala Bingo (you know, the one Sharon Osborne advertises for on tv),as this is cheap and fun (and you might win some money in the process!)
If you really don't want to spend, there is a free Lovefilm trial.
All companies are well known so there is no risk involved- give it a go! I got my iPod and many other things this way, so don't miss out.
I was a sceptic once but now I am SO glad I gave it a chance. B8C approved this system on their Newsnight programme a while back.

I've shopped on Amazon for about eight years now and in that time I've never posted a review. But I feel that Chinese Democracy would be a good start. I've listened to the full album on the offical GNR MySpace recently, shortly after it came out. I haven't bought it and probably will not be buying it. For the record, I love GNR. I don't have a problem with the current GNR consisting of only one original member (Axl Rose), but what I find ridiculous are the musicians who have joined GNR and play all the classic GNR songs as if they were their own! Their arrogance is worse than Axl's! To me, the current GNR are just a glorified cover band. Anyway, I digress, back to Chinese Democracy. Where do I start? Well, the opening track, the opening riff, those chords. ... Read More:

The choice of programme was excellent. The voices of the three Priests, although, I think, untrained, were brilliant. What ruined this for me was the constant background of the Vatican Choir (the heavenly chorus). To my mind they added nothing, in fact, in some songs, they out-sang the three priests and, again, to my mind, they ruined the songs. Listen to any other "cross-over" band, in particular, Il Divo, Amici Forever, etc, - no "heavenly chorus" in sight. The Priests can stand alone so why don't they? The Vatican Choir did not help them. As a matter of interest, as they are Priests, are the proceeds of the sale of this CD going to them, the Catholic Church or some very deserving charity? Hope to a charity and hope that this will be mentioned in their ... Read More:

other people have mentioned strangely missing 'greatest hits' tracks. but what about "Since I told you it's over" - heart-wrenching uber-pop somehow ended on the cutting room floor. Odd to say the least.

Much has been made of this album and the singles lifted from it, particularly the now grating 'Mercy' (surely a candidate for most annoying pop single of the year). Dont get me wrong I quite liked this when I heard it for the very first time but after a being force fed it by the radio several times I suddenly realised how weak it was. Its trying too hard to be something it is not ie a classic 60's pop song, its simply a pale approximation.
How she has been compared to the legendary Dusty Springfield is one of lifes great mysteries it must surely be simply a visual thing. Otherwise its like comparing cheap wool with silk. Will she be remembered in 30 years time? I doubt it.
If you like weak retro songs with little depth or substance sung ... Read More:

There are decent riffs on this album that lift it above some of the more lackadaisical offerings of Brian Johnston-era AC/DC (the equally forgettable Fly on the Wall, Ballbreaker, and Stiff Upper Lip), but it's a predominantly pedestrian set of songs.
Considering 8 years has elapsed since their last studio release (Stiff Upper Lip - although work began on Black Ice in 2006), you might expect them to pool their combined talent to write a more dynamic collection of songs - the album becomes repetitive and the songs indistinguishable after half way.
I've been listening to AC/DC since I first heard them on Australian radio as a schoolboy in the 1970s, and I've been consistently disappointed since Flick of the Switch (1983) precipitated a long slow decline from ... Read More:

This, for me personally is my favourite Coldplay album yet.
I think they're finding their sound, expressing their personality and experimenting on this album making it much more interesting, daring and individual than X&Y and even A rush of Blood.
I like this new, evolving nature in Coldplay, more of the same please!
