I love Joe Gibbs productions, the heavy bass reminds me of the 1970s vibe so well. Reggae just does not sound like this anymore. I remember visiting my aunt as a little boy in 1978 and she had this track "Hole in the bucket" by Kojak and Liza. My aunt was ecstatic about that track. She loved rude innuendo. My mom was quite displeased with it but I quietly sat thinking that I would never hear that track again; well I'm nearly 40 and it is now available on CD. So Greensleeves continue to bring back good memories to help people who have forgotten when music made you laugh, smile, blush and of course dance!

The problem with this release is that, while Dennis recorded some nice sides for A&M he only recorded one album of real quality for the label. That album 'Love Will Find It's Way' is the middle set of the three complete albums this set is comprised of. The first ten tracks make up the 'Foul Play' album which was Dennis's first for the label. Though most of the tracks on it are pleasant enough only the title track and 'If I Follow My Heart' really standout. The rest of the album fails on all fronts really as it's not commercial enough for pop fans nor rootsy enough to please his established following. It's a 5 out of 10 album. 'Love Has Found It's Way' however would rate a definite 8 out of 10 as it has an altogether more commercial production ... Read More:
