`Kingdom of Comfort' has been hailed as a return to form with renewed purpose for delirious? Sadly, despite having its moments, for most of this album delirious? seem to be a band whose day has gone, trying desperately to regain some momentum. Any hope of connecting again with the cultural mainstream in which `King of Fools' and `Mezzamorphis' once so proudly swam seems to have been abandoned with an album aimed squarely at the Christian sub-culture. Many of the songs plod where delirious? once soared and the lyrics confuse where once they inspired. Why is God smiling when our hearts are broken? Does the Spirit really teach us to distance ourselves from the world when we live our dreams and sing a new song?

Best Worship Songs... Ever Vol.1

This album remains one of the best, Anything but dull, real joy in worship with many favourites. I love this style of music and it does justice to the wonder of God's mighty works.
Great when you have friends round or just listening in the car or at home.
Wonderfully inspirational tracks.

Yeah, I'm like a lot of the other reviewers and long-time fans of this band: Great classic run of albums on Atlantic, until the limp Ear Candy and then the departure to Metal Blade and indie-metal obscurity.
Then last year, the word got out that King's X were working with production-god Michael Wagener, and I started to get quietly hopeful that this LP would be the one to return them to the status they held at the end of the uber-Grunge 'Dogman'-era, where they totally destroyed the competition at the Woodstock revival festival. Indeed, anticipation increased when I saw the promo photographs that preceded this release - the band, clad in leather and denim, looking like they KNOW this LP is going to rock.

With amazing lyrics & wonderful bass lines this album had me hooked from the first track. The variety of styles makes sure you don't get bored and the content of the lyrics gives much food for thought. I'd not heard this band before but they're definitely now on my gift list!

Like other reviewers, the thing that strikes me most about this album is its honesty - it's not afraid to face some of the things that get glossed over by many Christian artists who seem to conform to the 'happy clappy' image rather than admitting that life as a Christian isn't perfect. The music itself is also very good and often very moving.

I haven't stopped playing this album, it is everything people said, and a great way of getting into worship with God. I find it hard to see how another album can match the quality of Arriving, but I will buy more!!

I BOUGHT THE ALBUM LIFESONG BY THE CASTING CROWNS AND IT IS AN ABSOLUTE STUNNER. THEY SOUND SO MUCH LIKE NICKLEBACK. THEY ARE THE CHRISTIAN NICKLEBACK. THE SONG "SET ME FREE" JUSTIFIES MY POINT. WITH AWESOME ROCK ANTHEMS AND AMAZING WORSHIP SONGS THE ALBUM LIFESONG IS DEFINATELY UP THERE WITH THE BEST.

THIS ALBUM "CASTING CROWNS" IS ANOTHER STUNNER. THE FIRST 6 SONGS ARE AWESOME. THE LAST 4 LET THE ALBUM DOWN SLIGHTLY (BUT THAT IS BECAUSE THEY SET SUCH A HIGH STANDARD WITH THE FIRST 6 SONGS). I WOULD RECOMEND BOTH ALBUMS TO WHOEVER LOVES THEIR MUSIC. THESE ALBUMS WILL HAVE TO BE ON EVERY MUSIC FANS SHELF. IF YOU LOVE NICKLEBACK, THEN YOU WILL LOVE THIS ALBUM.

I love every track on this album. Cece winans did not disappoint in this album at all. Everyone should have a copy of it. It's an awesome cd, powerful, uplifting and truly praise and worship experience.This is my first time of buying an album and love every tracks on it.

If you are looking for some freshness,some funky bit, excitement and newness, this is a must have! And if you purchase this album, you will not be dissapointed because it's worth every penny and will definitely leave you lingering more for God. Get a copy and It will truly bless your heart.
