High School Musical is being talked about by teenager's everywhere, so I was determined to see what it was like. I asked someone I knew (who is obsessed with it) If I could borrow their copy of the soundtrack - And now I wish I hadn't. For staters the actual music is just over-used up beat dance tracks. With some weak mordern R and B thrown in. The things kicks of with a song entitled "Start of Something New". The song is merely just a badly written, horribly sang pop song. The vocals are very poor, there are signs of lack of emotion (in all the tracks). The second one, which is more of an R and B tune, is well irritating. WOW!!!!! i've now been to see step up 2 twice since it came out and i loved it both times!!!! It's fantastic - same may say it doesn't have a good story-line but who cares!?!? It still ace and the dancing is fantastic! It just makes you wanna go there and watch them for real!!!

And chase collins ... mmmm yum!

A must!!!!!!!!!!

There are few musicals with so many great numbers as Oliver!: 'Consider Yourself'; 'You've Got to Pick a Pocket or Two'; 'As Long As He Needs Me'; 'Reviewing the Situation'....the list just goes on and on. Lionel Bart never wrote a better musical (and I'm not sure anyone else did). It's now an incredible bargain at Amazon's current price of under £3-00. Some people prefer the stage recording (there are some odd balances in this, the film recording, but they don't detract from the pleasure) ; but for sheer joy and wonderful orchestral arrangements, you should snap this up.

All i say is that this is quite possibly the most perfect, surreal movie ever created. Me and my friend Stephen Kane sat and watched it seven times and never got bored. We know all the songs and the words "What time is iiiitt??"

I 100% recommend this movie, it made my life.

It's relaxing and melodic while being completely passionate and beautiful. How anyone could ban this stuff is beyond me. Damn politics!

Delicate sounds; perfect for sitting in the sunshine with a glass of wine. This arrived on Friday - and I have not stopped listening to it... Kinya Dawson's lyrics are amazing. Highly recommended.
