If this is life in Slow Motion, then this is the speed I want to enjoy it at. A great album full of wonderful melodic and distinctive David Gray songs.

Having had a huge success with White Ladder it was never going to be easy following it up. A "New Day at Midnight" was good, but having already set the standard, it suffered in comparison to "White Ladder".

However, "Slow Motion" is bang on target and proves as delightful and durable as his earlier achievement. This is a bolder and more confident offering from Gray. He has brought in wonderful orchestral arrangements and used them to great effect. The songs are grander and superbly crafted. I must admit, I'm not exactly a fan or Tom Jones, but my sister already has this album and when I listened to it I just had to buy it. The man has an awesome voice and every track on this album is totally different. A good one to add to your collection!

This album is masterful. It really is excellent; in almost every song. The screaming(or aggressive vocals)from the drummer and the melodic singing from the frontman are both perfect. Fitting the songs perfectly, they make some decent tracks. Ok, not just 'some'. Most of the tracks on this album are excellent.

The album actually takes at least two listens until you get into it and begin to understand the band. At first you may be led to believe that it all sounds the same. But when you give it a chance, and listen to the songs a couple of times- the songs begin to become more than good. They become excellent. This Is One Of The First I Bought (back in 2002) and ive enjoyed it since
there is nothing like the nice guitar intro to shinobivsdragoninja (thinks thats an anime inspired song name) and closing riff to ode to summer every song dosent disapoint as they try hard to battle all the american bands emerging at the time they do one hell of a job at it as they play some of the craziest riffs ive heard in a long time all 11 tracks (i have the original) keep the upbeat instruments going and as they keep bashing the tunes it leaves you wanting more

I truely love this CD, Meatloaf and Bonnie Tyler are two of my all time favorite singers, voices are incomparable to today's so called ''music''.
This set includes their greatest hits from the 80s plus a duet with Cher on Meatloaf's "Dead Ringer For Love". It is an album that you will play again and again, i have lots of Bonnie's albums but this is only CD i own so far with her cover of "Straight From The Heart", awesome stuff!!
If don't own this CD then be sure to order it today, it won't come a disappointment to you if you like these amazing artists.
