I brought this album for one purpose and one purpose only 'Let's Stay Together'
I didn't know who sang it because I was an 80's baby raised in the 90's it was before my time, but eventually found out that Al did.
After owning this album 2 months now I have been gripped by Al's presents on the mic, I now have 15 favorite songs on the album, they don't call it greatest hits for nothing!!
I feel so strongly about this album because when ever I hear it, it just makes me feel good, I literally have a smile on my face throughout the album!!
I have an ultimate favorite, but it was hard to pick with great songs like 'Simply Beautiful' 'Sha La La' 'Tired of Being Alone' and 'How Can You Mend a Broken Heart' getting in the way, ... Read More:

Most, if not all, of the four reviews already on this page, and the Amazon review itself, are mislocated or confuse this album (Spectrum 554 383-2) with another similar one (notice how the reviewers refer to tracks that are not, in fact, in this listing!). This particular album is not the original recordings, but one of those studio remakes from decades later, probably 1998 so far as can be told from the cover notes. Johnny sounds tired (how many times must he have sung 'Ring of Fire' before he came to make this?).

Of course, you get digital quality with a remake, but I'd much rather have the raw and passionate originals. Caveat emptor.

This album remains one of the best, Anything but dull, real joy in worship with many favourites. I love this style of music and it does justice to the wonder of God's mighty works.
Great when you have friends round or just listening in the car or at home.
Wonderfully inspirational tracks.

If you have not heard the first "Best Worship Ever"cd ,then it is a very good buy with a good variety of old and new songs by a great selection of artists.Unfortunately i have the first cd and i feel that this follow up is not just as good - but is still very good and would recommend it .A great asset to have if you have groups in your house because there is a song to fit most occassions .If you dont have the first cd ,I suggest you get it.

After seeing Randolph and the Family Band on the last night of Clapton's tour in the Royal Albert Hall I had to buy this CD to see if the studio versions were as good as the live ones. Never the same but certainly not disappointed, this is a great album. An ecclectic mix of gospel, blues, funk, soul, jazz and the kitchen sink thrown in for good measure. Is he the next Hendrix? Well, boy can this guy play, I mean really play. The vocals and lyrics are strong and his cousin's voice (the bass player) sounds like it should come from a beehived 1960's female singer, not a huge 6ft plus man; tuneful, soulful and sounding perfect for the riffs and bass lines drifting past your ears. I dont think this album lives up to it's title, there are many albums that are better, live, and more exciting to listen to. It may be good value for money, but the songs are badly arranged and a bit predictable. Buy london community gospel choir, or Mark Beswick & The Power Praise Worship Band , for a real live gospel experience.

I love every track on this album. Cece winans did not disappoint in this album at all. Everyone should have a copy of it. It's an awesome cd, powerful, uplifting and truly praise and worship experience.This is my first time of buying an album and love every tracks on it.

A brash bass-weighty track, posturing on the street corners of the genre - check out `Little Boy'. A positive confession is here with `Declaration - This Is It, affirming the faint'. A pensive ballad makes a show with `Help Me Believe'. Oh, and a churchy piano ballad features in `He Will Supply'. And with the above mentioned songs all done by track 7, you'll know it's definitely Kirk. He is now well established as the elder statesman in his field and there's a sincerity and maturity that exceeds previous recent albums. And I do sense a more powerful anointing, especially in the lyrics department.
